Couples Therapy

Every relationship encounters moments of disconnection, conflict, or strain that can feel difficult to resolve on your own. Couples therapy provides a supportive, structured space to rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen emotional connection using the Gottman Method, along with other research-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and relational therapy. Depending on your needs and circumstances, support is available through either ongoing couples counselling or a focused, intensive format, allowing you to choose the level of depth and pace that best fits your relationship.

Couples Counselling

Every relationship faces bumps along the way. I draw from a variety of well-established approaches to couples counselling, with a strong foundation in the Gottman Method. My goal is to help couples reconnect, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust. Whether facing everyday challenges or more complex issues such as trauma, infidelity, or PTSD, counselling provides a supportive space to heal and strengthen your relationship.

Couples Counselling Intensive

For couples who feel stuck or disconnected, this immersive three-day counseling format offers focused support to rebuild trust, strengthen communication, and restore connection. As an alternative to the traditional weekly or bi-weekly model, the Gottman Method Intensive provides concentrated, research-based guidance to help partners move through conflict and strengthen their relationship with skills that last well beyond the therapy room.

Couples Retreat experience

Designed for couples who want practical tools and meaningful time to reconnect, this Gottman-informed couples retreat offers a psychoeducational experience. Retreats are often held in restorative getaway locations, such as spa or wellness settings, allowing couples to step away from daily demands while learning research-based skills to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen their friendship.Alongside guided learning, couples have protected time to reflect, practice, and reconnect privately. These retreats provides a structured, supportive learning environment that blends education with space for integration, helping couples leave with concrete tools and renewed clarity about their relationship.

Personal Therapy

Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. As a licensed therapist, I offer a personalized, multi-modal approach that is tailored with compassion, openness, and a sprinkle of humour, helping you build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

Individual Counselling
(Adults and Youth)

Life can bring challenges such as stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, or major transitions that feel difficult to navigate alone. Individual counselling provides a supportive space to explore these experiences, gain insight, and develop healthier coping strategies. Using a personalized, evidence-based approach, therapy is tailored to your unique needs with the goal of building resilience, clarity, and overall well-being.

Safety PLanning -youth

As a licensed Signs of safety trainer and consultant, I can help facilitate safety planning with youth demonstrating high risk behaviours. This often includes sessions with the young person individually, as well as family sessions.

Family Support

We are shaped by our relationships, and we heal within them.”
— Esther Perel

Family Therapy

Families are not only a collection of individuals, but a network of relationships, each one shaping and influencing the others. With love also comes struggle, and therapy offers a space to strengthen communication, develop parenting strategies, and prepare for harder times. As a therapist, as well as a licensed Signs of Safety trainer and consultant, I support families in building resilience, creating safety plans, and deepening the trust and connection that hold them together.

Parenting and Co-parenting Support

Parenting and co-parenting (in blended units, or through separation/divorce) can bring unique challenges, especially during times of stress and change. Parenting support offers a structured, supportive space to strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and make decisions that prioritize your child’s well-being. Using strategies tailored to your family’s needs, this support helps parents build cooperation, consistency, and confidence while creating a more stable and supportive environment for their children.
